On July 29 - August 1, Moscow will host the national sports industry's main event of the year - the International Sport Forum «Russia - Country of Sports», established by the President of Russian Federation decree. The forum will be attended by the nation's leaders, top regional officials, heads of Russian and international sport committees and federations, prominent public figures, renowned athletes and newspersons.
The forum is held under the auspices of the President of Russian Federation, the Government of Russian Federation, the Ministry for Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy of the Russian Federation, and the Moscow City Government. Most of the activities will take place at Luzhniki Olympic sports complex, which, for the duration of the forum, will turn into a huge sports city.
In addition to a vast business agenda incorporating several plenary meetings, more than ten seminars and round-table discussions, official receptions organized for the participants by the President of Russian Federation and Moscow Mayor offices, the forum will also comprise sports and theatrical shows, the historical reconstruction titled «The 1980s Moscow», ceremonies to pay tribute to renowned athletes, a photo exhibition, sports cinema and chess festivals.
THE SECOND INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION «MODERN SPORT: INNOVATIONS AND PERSPECTIVES..
The second international exhibition «Modern Sport: Innovations and Perspectives», a major event within the forum to be operated by the sports communication agency SportAkademReklama, implies exchange of experience between the Russian and international experts and will be attended by leading Russian and international sports market players .
The exhibition is to demonstrate the latest achievements and innovations in the sports industry, promote business contacts and dialog between business and the authorities. In addition to a busy business agenda, the exhibition will comprise a professional management contest, cocktail parties, tournaments and bowls among the attending business community representatives.
A major part of the exhibition's 14,000-square meter exposition will be represented by stands from Russian and foreign organizations seen as active players in the sports-related sphere. The exhibition will comprise the following sections:
- Sports equipment, facilities and gear;
- Sports motor vehicles, bikes and bicycles;
- Pool and bowling;
- Outdoor sports goods;
- Construction, outfit and operation of sports facilities;
- Russian Federation regions;
- Sport federations, societies, clubs and nongovernment organizations;
- Children and teenager sports and physical fitness;
- Outdoor sport grounds;
- Sports for the disabled;
- Today's extreme sports activities;
- Sports research and education;
- Sports medicine, nutrition, fitness programs and training equipment.
Individual international exhibitions will be «Mountain Ski Industry», «Aqua» and «Exhibition of sport literature, press and multimedia».
«Mountain Ski Industry» will be a part of VI International Congress Of Mountain Ski Industry. It will be held within the framework of the International Sport Forum «Russia - Country of Sports» too. The exposition of the International Congress of Mountain Ski Industry will be attended by Russian and foreign companies manufacturing and selling equipment for ski resorts (ski lifts, snowmaking systems, snowcompacting systems, rescue systems, access and information systems, equipment for the summer use of resorts), clothing, footwear and accessories for the professional sportsmen and amateurs, and by construction firms and companies dealing with design and operation of ski resorts.
