“Water is boiling” that’s how the athletes refer to record-making swimming competitions. During the All-Russian Swimming Championships in the swimming-pool of Moscow sports complex Olympiiskii water was actually boiling. “Many athletes were wearing high-tech swimming suits that provide substantial increase in results”, explained the head coach of the Russian national swimming team Andrei Vorontsov.
New swimming have suits already helped to improve a few Russian and European records. Anastasia Zueva and Yulia Efimova were even able to break world records. The recipe is well known: if we add warm support of tribunes to the “boiling water” of Olympiiskii, put a few tablespoons of records, pepper it up with high-tech know-how, then we can treat international swimming occasions with delicious dishes.
