A board session of the Moscow Sports Committee has taken place at the Olympic Reserve Academy #2. The session was joined by Sergei Baidakov, deputy mayor of the Moscow Council.
The main agenda concerned the integrated programme "Moscow Sports 3" (2010-2012) and the schedule of public athletic events for 2009. Several fronts of work are planned for the following year – regular sports, sports for the alternatively enabled, elite sports and interregional events. Apart from that, the board has awarded 10 medals to commemorate the 85th anniversary of the Moscow Sports Committee. The awardees include Vladimir Vladimirovich Alyoshin, CEO of Luzhniki Olympic Complex Ltd, Vladimir Mikhailovich Churilin, CEO of Olimpiyskii Sports Complex and Alexander Alexandrovich Yeroshkin, Assistant Director of the Moscow Sports Committee Athletic Technology Centre.
